Rio is being featured as an addition to the Cafe Society at El Farol. The Cafe Society allows patrons to enjoy sophisticated, world-class entertainment while savoring delectable Spanish tapas, wines, and liqueurs exclusive to El Farol. Along with Rio, feel free to join El Farol with several of their other artists within the Cafe Society such as Nacha Mendez, Trey Keepin, & ¡Santastico! 

Featuring wistful vocals and lyrical guitar work, Rio offers intimate interpretations of bossa nova and jazz. With Julia Yates at the mic and Tim Drackert on guitar, Rio coaxes eavesdropped whispers and resonate stories from these great American and Brazilian songs. While jazz fans dig the repertoire and chops, Rio’s original material and hip sensibilities appeal to a wide range of listeners, including fans of Pat Metheny, Norah Jones, João Gilberto, Madeleine Peyroux, Cassandra Wilson, Rebecca Martin and Billie Holiday.
